are an autonomous community within the Kingdom of Spain formed by the isles of the Balearic Archipelago, situated in the Mediterranean Sea near the eastern Spanish Peninsula coast (about 100 kms.). The archipelago is divided into two grupes of isles. On the north, Las Gimnesias, Menorca, Mallorca and Cabrera and some next small Isles, as Dragonera or the del Aire Isle and; on the southwest, Las Pitiusas, Ibiza and Formentera and several small isles around. Its capital is the city of Palma de Mallorca. Its fantastic beaches and its mild climate makes the isles the place to be the whole year through, with more than 200 sunny days per year.
