is bordered by the following Spanish Autonomous Communities: On the north by the Principality of Asturias, Cantabria, Pais Vasco and La Rioja; on the east by La Rioja and Aragon; on the south by Castilla-La Mancha, Madrid and Extremadura and, on the west by Galicia and Portugal. Its capital is the City of Valladolid. It is the biggest Spanish Community and diverse, has a continental climate with long and cold winters, (except on the south) and hot summers.
